Identification of Magneto Crank Threads
« on: February 24, 2021, 10:38:04 PM »
Iíve got a bunch of magneto cranks and I've been told the threads are different on the various magneto manufacturers.

Does anyone know what threads are for which magnetos or if a list of all magneto threads exists?

Thanks,
Gary

I don't know if there is a thread list.
However, many magneto cranks can be identified based on what it looks like.
If you post a photo of the cranks some of them will be identifiable. you can use that info to start creating a thread list.

Thanks Jim,

A lot of the cranks do look the same, but I thought they could look the same but have different threads.

I will separate them out into the ones that look a like, check the threads and then post some pictures.

Thanks again,
Gary
