Howdy!

I've been off the vintage telephones since I purged most of my collection a few years ago.  Much of my knowledge about telephony is also gone.

Now that I'm retired, I still have some stuff that I will start putting them for sale on here. (Don't worry, I HATE eBay, Craigslist, Etsy, etc.)

I found an old mouth piece that I can't remember what phone it's used on.  Here's the pictures:

That's usually called a Western Electric bulldog transmitter.  It is usually found on 151AL candlesticks and 653 wall phones.  It is also found on some two-piece payphones.

Pretty much any receiver-transmitter type phone that went back to Western Electric for refurbishing after about 1937 would probably get one of these for better sound quality.
