How to connect wall phone to Cell2Jack?

Millet!

I just recently got this Northern Telecom wall phone, and I've been trying to connect it to my Cell2Jack. I've only connected normal phones to it before, and I'm not looking to hang the phone up (at least, as of right now). The only problem is that the jack fits in the Cell2Jack, but doesn't leave space for the power supply. I've been trying to find extensions to the cable, but none of them fit with it. I'm kind of a newbie at this sort. What should I do?  :P

I don't know what you have on hand, but a wall phone jack you can get at Home Depot for about $4 would make it easy to connect temporarily. You could also use it later on to wall mount it if you decided to use the phone.

Take the wall jack and connect it to an old modular mounting cord with one end cut off. Maybe you have one with a broken clip on one end--that would be a great re-use of it. Strip those wires and twist the wire on the red and green to make one solid wire for red and one for green. Then connect red and green wires to the red and green screws of your wall jack. Now you have a way to plug your wall phone in like a regular phone.

You can also use that stripped mounting cord to just wire directly to the screws inside the phone if you know where they are. Not a very elegant solution, but it would work temporarily. If you have a modular mounting cord with spade lugs on the end, that would work even better. You only need red and green--the two center conductors.

Welcome to the Forum and good luck.
