I've been experimenting more and more with doing multi color telephone signs on my 3D printer  I can make these LED backlit as well just by printing a lightbox and throw in an LED strip from amazon.

So far these are the 2 I've done and I've got more designs to print.

Man, that looks nice! :)
Great work there.

More design work on the signs.   Have to tweak the GTE Public Telephone Logo a bit but All in all they are coming out great.

Outstanding! They look great. Have you done a New England Telephone?....Doug

If you get me a high resolution image of the New England Telephone Logo I can do it :)

Wonder how it would do on replicas of the telephone company manhole covers?  There have been some attractive ones posted in various threads here.

There was talk about reproducing the manhole covers in those discussions back when but nobody had the equipment.

I thought something like those would make for really different coaster sets if done in plastic.

Telephone manhole cover coasters would be cool.

If i had a high res image of a manhole cover I could try :)  I could print them in a dark bronze filament and they would look kick butt :)

There are quite a few pictures of covers on Bing, though many appear to be oblique as opposed to vertically oriented.
