Hello everyone, this is my first post. I recently purchased my first pay phone. It's an Intellicall Model: PAT 14120TE. The smart board which I think is an Intellicall Astratel model. The smart board has a label on it that reads 74-01-03959-06 and the Wesrock brand, I attached photos. I can't find any documentation on this phone or smart board at all.

I don't know where to even start with this despite hours of research. I assume the smart board needs a power supply beyond POTS line voltage but how much on what port I have no idea. Any guidance folks can offer would be amazingly helpful.

Hey so bad news, the software to program it is not broadly available. Also there was a special modem made for it - currently on ebay for $200 (with some software!) - but way too much I think. Can a regular modem be used - maybe, but really no idea.

Have you found anything? I would probably just find a Protel or Elcotel board that are possible to program (I do have some spare so let me know). I do not have the keypads though, and those are most likely different than Intellicall.

As for the external power source, I would probably try the two pin white connector close to the bottom (left of the white relay and glass fuse), start gently with 12V DC via a small resistor not to burn anything. Who knows, maybe it's reasonably programmed. But most of those COCOT phones would only dial the very local 7-digit numbers directly, anything else would go via IXC (1-800 number first and then dial thru it). Which is OK if you have your own asterisk / freepbx exchange.
