I think I'm ready to restore my N3930BA from Northern Electric. I got it off Kijiji classifieds for $90CA!!

So, as you can see, I have A LOT of work ahead of me. 🤕  Hence the Open Junior and The longest Glen in Scotland!

Forgot to mention that I will be putting a sound chip in there, and Mabel Bell will answer... "How may I direct your call?" Might freak someone out when I tell em it ain't plugged in. 😆 But 1st...How... Does ... One get in to this receiver to repair it??!?

I'm looking forward to seeing the progress Dave.

Good Luck. To open it just lift off the bakelite mouthpiece. It appears you already removed the small screws. It may take a little persuasion.

The image in your last reply is of the phone's transmitter, in this case a "Bulldog" (don't remember the WE part number) newer transmitter which being newer, a replacement possibly, provides very good quality sound and virtually never needs to be repaired.

The receiver is shown to the left in your first image, hanging on the set's switch hook.
