Hello everyone,

Here are some pay phone locations from around the world that I've mostly found on vacation (although some from the internet).

Phone locations:

Sunnyvale: 401 E Hendy Ave Bldg 72
Sunnyvale CA

Tel: 408/738-9194

San Anselmo: 110 Tunstead Ave. San Anselmo, CA

Heathrow Airport (2 phones per pedestal, all maintained by British Telecom):

- Across from Terminal 5 Currency Exchange
- Across from Costa Coffee (near Underground station, I think)
- Across from Baggage Claim 10
- Across from Baggage Claim 6/7 Currency Exchange

London:

- 16 New Broad St. London
- 7 or 8 phones are on the corner of Parliament Sq. near the Westminster Underground station.

I will post more locations & pictures later.

There's also a black K6 phone booth, a nice one too, at the Tower of London, but the handset has been cut (I'll post pics later). More phones can be found near 60 Strand Street, 429 Strand Street, the Queensland Govt. Offices (Strand WC 2), 5 Great Newport Street, 8 Great Newport Street, 206 Essex Road, and 208 Essex Road. I don't know if the 208 Essex Road, the Strand Street, and Great Newport Street phones work or not, but I've noted their locations here.

Update: The phones in Parliament Sq. are not working, every one of the 8.

More K6 phone booths can be found here (phones not tested):

Coolbath Square

Next to the Amazon Fresh at 359 Upper St, London

Next to an optician at 23-24 Upper St, London

Next to Royal Trinity Hospice at 43 Upper St, London

Next to Oxfam Books & Music at 48 Upper St, London (This is not a K6 kiosk, but it was near one so I included it anyway)

2 phones are at 46 Pine St. near the Mount Pleasant Bus Stop

Recent images of the kiosks for the many members not familiar with the locations of these phones would help make these posts a better read. Please add images.

These are the locations I could find via Google Maps. Some places I couldn't find (like the Queensland Govt. Offices, and if I got any street numbers/names wrong, sorry in advance, because British streets are a bit confusing for me.

While I was near King's Cross station, I decided to duck in and see if there were any pay phones. There are 4 in the station in the West Concourse, across from the escalators. The signs in the concourse can direct you to the phones.

3 dead shells of pay phones at St. Pancras station. 2 phones would've occupied each pedestal, one higher and one lower (usually).

At Oxford train station, there are 2 good condition British Telecom booths from the 1980's on Platform 4. I could not get pictures because my train was leaving when I got to the platform. More pay phones can be found throughout Victoria Station, and at the Victoria Coach Station entrance passage (the passage to the bus terminal).

Here's one I saw last week at the Fred Meyer filling station on Hwy. 99E just South of Milwaukie Oregon.  It looks like it is still working, though I didn't test it.

Westrex

Thanks for the image @SUnset2. On those Y2K-ish phones w/ credit card slot, if the display works then the phone will usually work (unless if it reads "Out of Service" or something).

In Japan, According to current regulations, city areas are required to have a public pay phone installed every 500 square meters, with non-city areas every kilometer. With this info, I'll go hop on Google Maps and try to find some phones in Japan (probably going to be NTT phones).
