Elcotel 5502W Wiring?

Hi all, I have an Elcotel 5502W board that I'm not quite sure how to hook up to a relay. From what I understand this board is a 5-series meant for WE housing, but I can find absolutely no information on it. I'm assuming it would work with a standard 2-wire WE relay but the male connector on my relay doesn't seem to match any connector on the board. Could it be the pair of pins at the bottom left? I think the pair of pins next to T/G/R is for the battery but am not sure. Does the polarity of the relay matter?

This really odd... just look at my Elcotel 5502 board. it is very different...

You have helped me a lot in past, so I am trying to be helpful....

For my board to operate it needs power of 16V DC(16V 0.5A). My phone also have VFD display. You can see two pin connector on sub-board marked red. On that connector the positive is on a left.
I zoom in DC connector for you. The last picture is with cover on, so you can see connector's details and polarity of DC power needed.

And here is a battery connector on my board(marked red circle). Battery is 6VDC 1.2AH. You can see polarity as well.

Furthermore, I am not sure what do you mean by "standard 2-wire WE relay" but is you referring to coin accept/return relay it is connected to three pins black connector. It uses regular Protel 48V three pins relay. The four pin connector(under two rows of pins) is for trigger(in case of use mechanical coin acceptor). My coin acceptor is MS16 and it is electronic so my trigger turned off. and two naked pins are for external ringer.

I hope it helps. If it is not just ignore my spill :)...

Appreciate your comments and images, but I think that leaves me with more questions.

Based on what you mention I'm guessing the two naked pins next to the 15-pin connector in my 2nd pic are for the ringer because there is a jumper right below for ringer on/off

However, I don't have any connectors here that look like they support 1 3-pin Protel coin relay or my older Western Electric 2-pin relay. Further, I'm not sure this metal cover on my board is actually accurate. I have holes in the metal for DC and Data Port, but they only seem to sort of line up with 6 and 10 pin female headers respectively, connectors for them wouldn't even fit through these holes in the metal.

on my board the opening marked DC is for connector on subboard and the subboard connected to main board via 6 pins connector. I have tested this subboard and looks like the main function of this subboard is to produce +60VDC for VFD display. If you don't have VFD display you might not need this board or an external power(similar as in Protel).

I think, If you connect voltmeter to two naked connectors on your third picture(beside 5 pins brown connector(J2)) then connect T/R to phone line and try to dial to this board you should get 60V-130V 20Hz voltage spikes on voltmeter. I believe, this would be a safest approach to identify external ringer connectors. You can try the same method for two pin connector on your third picture.
Furthermore, I think J7 - is for keypad assembly with LCD display and J5 for keypad assembly with VFD displays.

Also, when I connect the line to the board my board makes relay click. So, if you connect voltmeter to two pin connector on your third picture and connect board to phone line you should see brief voltage spike...
