Trouble with Ooma

I have been using Ooma VOIP service for several years now, and a few months ago, they started having serious trouble connecting calls to Verizon wireless subscribers.  Most of the times that I attempt to call Verizon subscribers' phones, I hear a faint click followed by silence while the phone I am trying to call rings.  The person I am trying to call attempts to answer the call, but neither of us hear each other.  I have contacted Ooma support, and after being given a bit of a runaround, a woman told me that other customers have reported the same problem and that they are working on it.  Today I received an email message from Ooma asking me to try to make more calls, and asking inane questions about what kind of phone I am using and whether I am using tone or pulse dialing.

Is anyone here aware of this problem and/or have any ideas what can be done about it short of canceling my Ooma service?

Thank You

the biggest problem I have with Ooma is the billing.... trying to get them to bill on a certain day is toublesome. I'm on SSD and Ooma always charges my account at the END of the month when I have no money... so there is that issue, the other issue is that I'm on a T-mobile cellular gateway and there are times when I have to stop and shut my system down to clear the system and then start it back up.... my roommate complains that his freinds con't get through, Yet I don't ever seem to have issues on my line. ( I have a 1A1 KSU and 5 Ooma phone lines) I think most of the issue is with T-Mobile. but I love Ooma as it is based in the city I grew up in, so its like family....

Ooma did eventually fix their problem with calls to Verizon subscribers, but it took a while and many calls and email messages.

I have my Ooma account set up to bill my credit card.  I therefore do not have to actually pay the bills until a few weeks later when my credit card payment is due.
