I don't believe I've ever seen a dial like this before.  I was restoring an AE model 35, and the dial wire connections were not familiar to me, like I thought someone had modified the connections.  The mystery only deepened when I removed the number plate.  All connections to the dial are on the shunt side, with screw terminals.  There are "jumper" wires that are soldered to the impulse side, but only after interacting with integral coil and condenser on the internal side of the dial case. This is apparently some "factory" variant of a type 24 dial.  Anyone seen this before??

The wiring insert on this phone shows only a single 1MF condenser.  I suspect the extra condenser and coil in this dial is an early attempt at an anti-sidetone upgrade, but I have yet to trace the wires to investigate that hypothesis.

That dial appears to been removed from a type 50 or 35 wall set. Most of the spark supp dials i have seen were on type 47 multiline sets
