I acquired this long pole in an auction lot from a wooden frankenphone in the making.  I paid $7.50 knowing it was broken. I have seen this receiver described as  made by Manhattan. So many of these are unmarked, I am not sure how one knows the make maybe the top terminals or inside gives a clue? There are no marks I can find on this one at all.  Since I knew I was going to attempt a repair and that one of the leads was off, I decided to post pictures with the receiver apart. The pieces appear to be pre-Bakelite with a seam in the body.  The top has a cover and then a screw on cap which has a crack.   I am not going to remove the cloth electrical tape until I am ready to repair but can see the inside crack appears to be tight.
