I picked up a Crouse Hindes ETWA20 With a Roanwell Confidencer transducer. This might not be the right category but how do I get it off the handset? I searched the forum but didn't come up with anything. Sorry if this has been answered before. It turns like its a bayonet style but wont come out. It moves an 1/8th of a turn and stops. I thought maybe there's a spring tab I have to press in the holes on the bottom but I don't see anything to press. Any advise is greatly appreciated!

Thanks,
Frankie

Seems to be a 2 piece unit but I've never had one, dying know how to remove one.

Do a google search for "Roanwell Confidencer" for other links.

That was exactly what I needed. Idk why nothing came up when I searched the forum. Seeing that it was 2 piece, I carefully took channel locks and turned the inner cw while turning the outer ccw. I got it off. This phone has gunk all over it and it probably "glued" the two pieces together.(EDIT: It almost looks like red Loctite, which makes sense being an explosion proof phone, to seal it.) The half round nylon piece looks like it keeps the cup pointed the right way and is why it wouldn't come out in one piece.

Thanks for the Help!!!
