Miniature Princess Gift Box!

I just got this miniature Princess phone, which came in what appears to be a gift box and with a gift card.  I've never seen anything like this before (OK, I've seen miniature Princesses before).  The 12 inch ruler in the photo is for scale.

Nice find. Most of the "miniature" phones out there were for this but the boxes are not usually found. If you wanted to give soimeone a phone as a gift this is what they got. I collected the mini 500's at one point.

I have a white 500 promo that came in a box with an enclosed Christmas card telling the recipient they got an upstairs telephone extension for one year. I've never seen the box or the card that came with your Princess promo, so that was a nice find.

These promos came from gifts of phone service or they were part of a set that sales people used to show all the available colors. Also Junior Achievement used them to make penholders. I have some 500 promos made of chalkware or plaster that are very early with black dial blanks. The Bell System made lots and lots of promos.

Below is a picture of my white 500 promo and its box and card. Also a pic of the chalkware plaster promos. The one on the right is Mahogany Brown and the one in the middle is black. They came from Maine and I haven't seen many others.
