Phones got lost...

I am awfully angry.
Nothing to do with the seller, the phones were great and quite cheap.
On December 21st, I won 3 auctions on interesting east-German phones:
- W58 (10 - 1961) : https://www.ebay.fr/itm/256744883146
- W61 (4 - 1963) : https://www.ebay.fr/itm/256744887866
- W38 (1 - 1951) : https://www.ebay.fr/itm/256744950657
Except the W38, which has a small bit missing on a corner, all looked very good, 2 even had original plugs & 1 wall plug.
The W38 is an early GDR version with, of course, glass bells but also a metal base. The early W38 is rather rare, both others are not that common.
The phones were send by DHL and came to France on December 30th. Since then, no news. I called La Poste (who is supposed to deliver DHL packages in France), who replied they lost it and that's all, see with the seller what you can do.
Goodness. How on earth did they manage to lose a box big enough to contain 3 bakelite phones? I suppose it has just been stolen. Hide it under your overcoat and run? Really!

That's a shame. My guess is that they were delivered to the wrong house, and the recipient just threw them away.  You are, by law, supposed to return to sender, but many people do not.

Your phones may show up eventually.

Sometimes packages get "lost in the system" and then found.  Recently, I had one shipped to me by US Postal Service that was delayed.  Tracking showed that it got to a distribution center near me, then no movement for several days, then back to the first center closer to the shipper.  It moved around that area for a few days before heading in the right direction toward me.

That package should have taken about 3 days to reach me, but it took 3 weeks!  So, don't give up hope yet.  They might find it.
