Do you recognize this dial?

I have an AE dial with a numerals only chrome look number plate I need help identifying please; it's not in my AE catalogs.

A picture is attached.

This picture is of the dial's rear.

I think it's an 51 type.

I saw mention of a brass numerals plate with luminous markings, the AE AK+38, could that be numeral plate ive got?

I have a similar metal number plate on a Stromberg Carlson dial. It is a shiny grey plate with numbers and letters painted on it. This is the only dial I've worked on that I could not remove the number plate, easily. The metal plate has 4 straight tabs that were bent over through the dial case to secure the number plate. Wasn't about to bend them straight to remove the metal number plate.

This won't help you identify your dial, just shows these are out there and by at least two manufacturers. Why metal? Don't know.

My dial IS a 24A36 type with the flat spring on the pawl, making the wind up clicks quieter.

It didn't come to mind until I was readying the dial card holder and took a literal good long look at the pawl.

I also confirmed that with my AE catalogs.
