I'm trying to find the bracket and nut for the inside of a B1 phone.

Bracket and nut?  They don't use any removable brackets.  Can you describe what the said bracket is attached to, and what is supposed to be attached to it?

I need the bracket that holds the switch contacts inside the base. Also the nut that secures the bracket. I was going to use a mounting bracket from a 202 phone until I realized how different they are.

Yes, while the D1 has the hookswitch mounts molded into the cast base, the B1 used a "Y" shaped bracket mounted on the plunger post.

That may be a hard to find piece. Maybe a collector with a lot of parts may have one. B1's are scarce to begin with compared to D1's and that bracket would be in every B1 unless intentionally removed, and discarded by the remover.

Do you have a working plunger assembly in that base?

has quite a few images showing the difference between the B1 and D1 hookswitch mounts, a couple of which are attached here for quick reference (the first is the B1, both with dials):

I do have the plunger assembly working in the base.
The link to the wiring for a B!/D1 is a great discussion on this site.
