Removing Nail Varnish from ABS

To remove nail varnish from ABS plastic try a few drops of cooking oil/olive oil. A drop or two directly on and around nail polish should soften the varnish. Gently scrape the nail polish off with your fingernail or the blunt edge of a knife.

I have previously also used Acetone Free Nail Polish Remover, as a test area (inside a phone shell) showed it had no effect on the ABS I was working on.

NB: As always, please try on a hidden area first.

Once all nail varnish has been removed you can proceed to Chemically Sand.
