Converting a Fatboy conversion as a guide

I'm in the process of of converting a. 3H4 Gallon that the original components failed on..


I'm using a WE4293A network that doesn't have a "L-2" terminal. As with the Fatboy, I'm using 2 switch hook leads, the pair that breaks contact when on hook, and makes when off hook.

The network has a spark suppression capacitor. It fits easily inside.

Right now, I've got the red line on the A terminal, the green line on L-1 with one of the hook leads, plus the black ringer lead.

There are the S & T terminals which I could substitute for the L-2 terminal.

My original Fatboy conversion notes mention jumpers from L-2 to A and 
L-2 to RR, will I need to add those?

By the way, there was a jumper between the upper and lower hook contacts that was removed so it wouldn't make a issue with the conversion.

The only other thing is because one hook leads was short, I lengthened it with a "Spanish connector" and extra wire and put a heat shrink sleeve over it.

I'm suspecting the wiring will be similar to WE CS sets where connections that were normally made at L-2 were changed to the A terminal.

Any advice and assistance is welcome and appreciated.

L1, S, and T (and L1 and G on older WE networks) are all "blind" terminals. That is, they don't connect to any components inside the network. So, you can use them to connect 2 or more wires.

If the hook switch connects L1 to C when off-hook,  then the other line cord would connect to A, and the jumper wire from A to RR for manual (no dial) service. If you have a dial, then the pulsing contacts connect to A and RR rather than said jumper.

Ringer connects to L1 and K.
