I started collecting phones in 1986, and had amassed a good size collection, over 100 phones or partial phones. Hard times forced me to sell the vast majority of my collection a few years back. As I began to get back on my feet and finances stabilized, I started buying again. Then got hit with a theft. These few as well as a few in bins survived all that.

This is the first phone I ever collected, a gift from my wife for our first anniversary.  Late 1920s AE dial candlestick.

I added the dial later, it came with a dial blank.

One neat feature, the cords are original and the receiver cord still has the paper AE tag on it.

My next phone was this WE 202.

Sometime in the early 90's I saw this 102 at a flea market for $50.00.

And this last one (for now) is a very nice Farr compact wall phone, minus the receiver. I paid 90.00 for this one and was very pleased. The finish is a bit rough but it is all there; even the ringer silencer peg and the key were attached.

That's just a handful for now, but I have a few I am working on as time permits.

I have a lot of phones, but I don't have enough.
