F1 handset

Is there any type of mod to replace the HA1 receiver element in a F1, with something that has little more volume for my old ears.

One thing you can do if you are handy with a hole saw is deepen the recess for the capsule enough to use a newer U style capsule, but the increase will not be that big, maybe not at all, as the volume on my 354, my blue 304, and my red 302 is just as loud as a 500.  The rest of my 300s and my North, though, as a little less.

An LB-type receiver unit from a Trimline or W.E. Celebrity handset will fit. I don't know that it will be any louder.
